Leh is one of the beautiful places in India. It is one the major tourist attraction in India. Leh is blessed with vivid culture and religion. It receives hefty snowfall throughout from the month of November till late May. The best part of visiting Leh is, it has 9 months of winter and 3 months of summer. It also has variety of adventurous activities like: jeep safari, bike tours, trekking, cycling, yak safari, river rafting, mountain climbing and many more. Visitors come here to explore some beautiful and finest Monasteries in Leh. 

On your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 45 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, Snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. On arrival transfer to the hotel for check in.

Further proceed for a Half day Sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zasbarwan Mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. We will explore the gardens and visit the factory Shop. Later you will enjoy a 60 minutes Shikara boat ride in Dal Lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Drive back to the Hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, pack your bags & check out from the hotel. Today we drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. On arrival check in to the hotel & relax.

Later get ready as we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. After returning we will visit the small town market for some snacks or you may visit nearby places, observing the local people going with their daily routine & later drive back to the hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, we will depart from Sonamarg & drive to Alchi, which is situated in the Ladakh region. This drive will take you through lush slopes and pine wood forests till Sonamarg. En route we will have some light refreshments and later ascend the towering Zojila Pass (11,500 Ft). The pass is treacherous because of its curves and bends. As we cross the pass, we will have a wonderful landscape of stark naked mountains. We will continue our drive across the Ladakh plateau till we reach Drass. This small hamlet is said to be the second coldest place next only to Siberia. Arrive at Alchi in the evening. Upon arrival, we will transfer to your hotel where you will Check in. Later have your Dinner before going to sleep.

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Leh. As we drive past colorful villages and hill side monasteries the journey will get more interesting. En route we spend the time exploring the small villages. One of the interesting aspects of these villages are its monastery. Mainly known for its wall paintings of the 11th Century, the monastery was built by the great translator "Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo". The wall paintings in Alchi Monastery are some of the oldest surviving paintings in Ladkah & reflect artistic and spiritual details of both Buddhism and Hindu kings of that time in Kashmir. Later as we wrap up our Alchi visit, we will go for sightseeing tour of Sangam (confluence of the Indus & Zanskar rivers), Magnetic Hill, Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, In the evening drive back to Leh. Transfer to the hotel for check in and later have your Dinner.

Have breakfast at the hotel in morning. Today we will drive to Nubra valley, driving over the highest motored pass in the world. The exciting journey through serpentine roads leads us to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. We stop at the pass to admire and click some photographs of the fantastic view, before driving down into the Nubra valley. The valley is situated on an old caravan route at the confluence of the Shyok and the Nubra rivers. We drive to our fixed camp resort. Have Lunch over here as later we drive to visit the charming valley, of Diskit- the tiny capital of Nubra. The capital is marked by a single file of shops that are put up on the main road. We will visit the Diskit Gompa, perched on a rocky spur above the village, with a commanding view of the entire valley. From Diskit we will drive to Hunder past an area of sand dunes and get acquainted with the famous Bactrian camels. This small population of shaggy double-humped animals, which in the old days, were used as pack animals on the Central Asian trade routes are now used as riding animals in the high deserts. In the late afternoon we will drive back to the camp. Relax in your camps or spend time to capture the amazing views outside. Later have your Dinner before going to a relaxed sleep.

Overnight stay at camps in Nubra. (B + L + D)


After breakfast late morning check out from the camps and proceed to Leh. We will drive back through the same route and cross the Khardungla pass yet again. After there you will be visiting the famous Japanese pagoda known as Shanti Stupa. Further we will drive to the massive Tibetan Buddhist Gompas of Shey, Thiksey. A few kilometers up the Indus is Shey, the ancient capital, with its palaces, temples, and vibrantly colored murals, cleaned and restored in the mid 1980’s. Later we drive to visit the fortress styled monastery of Thiksey. Later then visit to the local market in the evening for shopping. We arrive at Leh in the late evening and check in to the hotel. Later have your Dinner.

After early breakfast drive for a visit of Pangong Lake via Chang La pass. The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breathtaking views of the snow covered Himalayas. The Lake is the highest (4267 M) salt-water lake in the world, situated along the India / China border. It is about 130 Km long and 5-6 Km wide. The Chang - chenmo range surrounding it from the north provide a spectacular backdrop to the blue and green expanse of its brackish water. Later drive back to Leh.

En route enjoy a Half day sightseeing to Hemis monastery. Afterwards, we drive to visit the Hemis monastery. This monastery is known to be the most famous and rich Buddhist temple in the entire region. The Murals and frescoes here date back to 17th century. After we explore the sacred monastery, we drive back to our hotel in Leh. In the evening, you can spend some time roaming around the markets or exploring nearby places on your own. Later return to your hotel for Dinner.
